MY DINOSAUR PAGE - MARX FIGURES PART 2
On this page of my site, I cover Marx Kronosaurus and revised Tyrannosaurus and whatever else comes up. Actually Allosaurus and Parasaurolophus came up; so I covered them. I have a lot of Kronosaurus pictures because I know that is what you want to see. It's a nice looking figure even though it isn't biologically correct. Dinosaurs had toy human figures to play with, and they weren't biologically correct either.
And now the Kronosaurs.
Here are several Marx Kronosaurus figures in rare colors. The colors here are metallic green, silver, and chocolate milk brown. These colors aren't just rare for Kronosaurus. These colors are rare or non existant for any Marx Dinosaur figure. Silver was only used for the three large mold group figures - Pot belly Tyrannosaurus Rex, Brontosaurus, and Kronosaurus.
"We can do that too!"
These marbled Kronosaurus are expensive too when they are in nice condition like mine are. I got lucky and got mine real cheap on a set of Buy-It-Now auctions on Ebay.
Moving on to the Revised mold Tyrannosaurus Rex (The skinny one).
Here are the Allosaurs. The Marx Allosaurus, as with the MPC Allosaurus, doesn't look that fierce. In fact, they don't look fierce at all. There I said it. It had to be said and no one else would say it. I am not trying to cause trouble and upset the Marx community. I just thought I would say explicitly what we all know implicitly. The Marx Allosaurus is a wimp. It probably got beat up by Trachodons.
The previous four pictures say it all. That is all the proof you will ever need. Marx Allosaurus are weaklings.
The Allosaurs by Marx is in two mold groups, the revised and the medium. The medium one has a lean in its stand. Both figures lack Allosaurus fierceness as I said earlier.
The last dinosaur that we cover on this page is the Marx Parasaurolophus. That is the one with a bone sticking out on top of this head. Boneheaded in other words.
That is such a big word. Some wonder how you pronounce it. With your mouth. That is the only way that I know how to do it.
