MY DINOSAUR PAGE - FIGURES FROM DINOSAUR LAND IN WHITE POST VIRGINIA
I love these dinosaurs. I see the internet voices are calling them ugly. They aint ugly. They just have a certain texture which some may not like. I think they look cool as a group. Some more than others individually. I have to admit that the Moschosp figure doesn't look very Moschoppy. I wish they had more in the set or would do another set. Eight isn't enough.
White Post is near the city of Winchester in the north western part of Virginia. I lived in the eastern part of the state of Virginia for almost fifty years. Our family travelled the two hour journey to dinosaur heaven when I was younger. I picked up a lot of my early dinosaurs from here. Those are the ones on the page after the table of contents where I mention some of my early figures. I didn't get these figures there. I went the expensive route and bought them off of Ebay.
This set does not include some of the more popular names. There is no Tyrannosaurus, no Stegosaurus, no Brontosaurus, no Triceratops, no Dimetrodon, no Trachodon, no Ankylosaurus, no Styracosaurus, no Pteranodon, no Allosaurus, no Spinosaurus, no Velicoraptor, no Plesiosaurus. Some of these more common dinosaur species are found in their theme park among their giant displays, but not in this set of figures. With some of the figures, it is hard to tell what species it is. So I will put it on top of the first set of individual pictures (pictures 3 - 10).
Here is a group picture of my White Post Dinosaur Land figures. I have two different of each figure except the Tylosaurus. Click on the big (Dinosaur size) thumbnail to open up a large picture in a new window or tab.
