MY DINOSAUR PAGE - MPC PREHISTORIC ANIMALS PART 1
Here is my chapter on MPC - dinosaurs that I had since I was a little child. My grandparents got them for me - a bunch of them. (A bunch of MPC dinosaurs, not a bunch of grandparents) When I first started buying dinosaurs off ebay in 2008, I though my stash was Marx which I had previously never heard of even though they were a massive toy company. Then I realized that what I had was Marx copy cat dinosaurs by a company called MPC. They just outright copied Marx on many figures making them a little smaller or otherwise slightly different. I guess you could get away with things back then.
MPC figures weren't as full or as meaty as the Marx figures that they copied. They were more colorful, though. They also had some species which Marx didn't have and didn't make or copy some of Marx's figures such as the Sphenacodon. However, the similarities between the two set of prehistoric figures was definitely there.
That picture is crowded. I took two separate pictures, each with half the blue dinosaurs. Then I combined the pictures. I did the same with the gray dinosaurs
